“PATIENCE IS BETTER THAN PRIDE. KEEP YOUR TEMPER UNDER CONTROL; IT IS FOOLISH TO HARBOR A GRUDGE ECCLESSIATES 7:8
Patience is better than Pride. Just like being sorry than not being sorry…. Whatever it is…Whatever the circumstances may be, be patient and soft. See hear, pause and listen then takes sides, because pride does not do any good:
- It prolong grudges
- It will bring up negative temper if you dwell for too long or bitterness in a long run.
- It will delay forgiveness and opportunity to make peace and love.
- It will make you selfish and greedy.
- Blocks humility
“In your anger do not sin. Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry and do give the devil a foothold” EPHESIAN 4:25-27. Be patient, it will slow you to anger. Our hearts is playful; it will easily captivate anger and doubt. So be patient! Don’t be careless of what you say. Be careful of the words you use to people. Use kind and gentle words as much as possible.
Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen
So be patient for patience will cool you down and give you better understanding.
Whoever is patient has great understanding, but one who is quick-tempered displays folly. Proverb 14:29
Do not delay to make peace. Do not wait for another year to forgive and to say sorry. Appreciate and be thankful because chances may surpass. Lucky for those who have given the chance. Rejoice and praise the Lord! Do not let negative temper over coat your joyful soul. Let your joyful soul reign as it used to be. Be true and warm hearted. Ignore a person who tells you a fool for asking forgiveness, for making first move of reconciliation and remain kind despite of the mocking and bad doings of others to you. For the judgment of human being is useless than of God.
4 Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! 5 Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. 6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Look at the city around you, how leaders govern. When leader and his servant won’t meet half way it produces chaos, they all want what they want and they tend to hate each other.
A lil pride is nice but too much of it is chaos. So think pause, reflect. How’s your relationship at work, home, friends, love ones and with God? Does patience over rule?Or does your pride?
P.S.Oh I praise the lord for the gift of wisdom today and for the rest of the day. For Iam not much of a talker and in him words flow over me,
